Diabetes mellitus (30, 74, 130, 131)

The Diabetes Mellitus profile comprises four types of tests that provide the doctor with extensive information and the possibility to establish an exact diagnosis.

The profile includes:

-Glucose in serum

-(HbA1C) Glycosylated hemoglobin in blood

-Somatomedin C, IGF-I

-Somatotropin

Preparation for the investigation: 

Blood sample collection can be done between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, after a 12-hour fasting period.

1. The day before the investigation, exclude: fatty and fried food, alcohol, smoking, and stress.
2. Inform the doctor about any medications being taken.
3. Performing blood tests on the same day after an X-ray or physiotherapy procedures is not recommended.

*In case of emergency, tests can be collected at any time of the day until 3:00 PM.

The result is issued on the same day.
