Echographic examination of mammary gland

Breast ultrasound is a non-invasive, painless, and non-radiating method of examining the breast using ultrasound waves. It provides important information about the condition of breast tissue, the presence of nodules, cysts, or other formations suspected by a doctor or detected during palpation.

During a breast ultrasound, the condition of the breast tissue is examined, the presence and classification of formations are assessed, as well as the evaluation of inflammatory or post-traumatic lesions and the state of the axillary lymph nodes.

Breast ultrasound is recommended to be performed before the 10th day of the menstrual cycle, without any restrictions on daily activities. It can be conducted upon the recommendation of a specialist doctor or independently for preventive purposes.
