Scrotal ultrasound examination

The scrotal ultrasound examination is a non-invasive and painless imaging test, recommended by a specialist or performed upon the patient's request when symptoms such as groin pain, swelling, or testicular discomfort are present.

During the procedure, the following are examined:

Testicles – size, shape, and internal structure

Presence of cysts, tumors, or other formations

Detection of early-stage varicocele

Evaluation of the epididymis and spermatic ducts

Preparation for the examination:

No special preparation is required. It is recommended to wear loose clothing to allow easy access to the examined area.
