Preparation for Investigations

The Health Check investigation package includes examinations, consultations, and laboratory tests, requiring special preparation before presenting for the investigations.

• Due to the complexity of the package and the multitude of examinations, appointments are scheduled and conducted over 2 or even 3 consecutive days.
• Patients are required to fast and are only allowed to drink water (unless scheduled for gastro investigations on the same day).
• For the general urine analysis, samples should be collected at home in a sterile container during the first urination of the day.
• To ensure maximum informativeness of the general ultrasound examination, it is recommended to schedule it on the 5th or 10th day of the menstrual cycle (thus, it's important to coordinate the appointment day with the operators).
• Mammography of the breast glands is performed if the patient hasn't undergone this examination within the last year, as mammograms are recommended annually for preventive purposes.
• Depending on the day scheduled for gastroscopy, specific preparation for the examination must be followed (refer to "Preparation for Investigations").
• The investigation package also includes "Exercise Stress Test", so it's advisable for patients to wear lightweight sportswear.
• Patients are required to arrive for the investigation 10 minutes before the scheduled time, carrying their ID card and any other relevant medical information they possess.
