Preparation for Investigations

The Health Check package includes examinations, consultations, and laboratory tests, and for this reason, special preparation is necessary before presenting for the investigations.

- As the package is more complex and includes many investigations, it is scheduled and performed over 2 consecutive days.

- Patients should present on an empty stomach, with only water allowed to drink.

- For the general urine analysis, urine should be collected at home in a sterile jar, during the first urination.

- To maximize the informativeness of the general ultrasound examination, it is recommended to be performed on days 5 to 10 of the menstrual cycle.

- Depending on the day when the gastroscopy and colonoscopy will be performed, preparation for the investigation must be followed (see "Preparation for Investigations”).

- Mammography of the breast glands is performed if the patient has not undergone another examination within the last year, as mammograms are recommended to be done once a year for preventive purposes.

- For MRI screening of the whole body;

The day before the investigation:
Diet: hard fibers (cabbage, other vegetables and fruits), carbonated drinks, black bread, dairy products must be excluded from the diet.
Recommended: Simeticon 40 mg. ("Espumisan 40mg", "Balonix Med 80mg", "Flaton 50mg", "Flatulence 80mg"): 2 tablets 3 times a day.
*This is necessary to eliminate excessive bloat. 

On the day of the examination: The investigation is carried out on an empty stomach, the last meal should not be taken later than 3-4 hours before the start of the examination;

- Patients are required to present themselves for the investigation 10 minutes before the scheduled time, bringing their ID card and any other medical information they possess.
