Osteodensitometria prin Tomografia Computerizată 384-slice
Price: 650 MDL
384-Slice CT Bone Densitometry is a simple, painless, and non-invasive examination. It is recommended for all women at the onset of menopause, men over the age of 50, smokers, patients with chronic conditions requiring long-term corticosteroid therapy, and children during periods of growth who present with postural abnormalities or skeletal deformities affecting the spine or limbs.
What is examined?
CT bone densitometry is a specialized, non-invasive imaging method used to assess bone tissue. It provides an accurate measurement of bone mineral density (BMD), helping to evaluate bone strength and detect conditions such as osteoporosis at an early stage.
Preparation for the examination
384-Slice CT bone densitometry does not require any special preparation. After the examination, patients can immediately resume their normal daily activities without any restrictions.
Computed Tomography (CT) uses X-rays. Therefore, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, this examination can only be performed with a written medical referral.
If you do not have a referral, you can schedule a consultation at the German Diagnostic Center.
The physician will assess whether the examination is medically indicated and, if appropriate, will issue the referral required for your CT scan.
