Price: 1480 MDL
384-Slice CT Scan of the Lumbosacral Spine is an advanced imaging examination used to evaluate the bones of the lower spine. It is recommended for patients with spinal trauma, spinal misalignment, lower back pain, numbness, tingling in the legs, or other symptoms affecting the lumbosacral region. The examination can detect vertebral fractures, subluxations, scoliosis, bone spurs (osteophytes), tumors, congenital abnormalities, and other spinal conditions.
What is examined?
The scan provides a detailed assessment of the bony structures of the lumbosacral spine, including vertebral fractures, subluxations, bone lesions or tumors, and spinal alignment abnormalities such as scoliosis. It also allows indirect evaluation of the surrounding soft tissues.
Preparation for the examination
A 384-Slice CT scan of the lumbosacral spine does not require any special preparation.
After the examination, patients can immediately resume their normal daily activities without any restrictions.
Computed Tomography (CT) uses X-rays. Therefore, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, this examination can only be performed with a written medical referral.
If you do not have a referral, you can schedule a consultation at the German Diagnostic Center.
The physician will assess whether the examination is medically indicated and, if appropriate, will issue the referral required for your CT scan.
