Preparation for the investigation

Before the investigation, the medical assistant will ask you to remove all metal objects (glasses, watches, magnetic cards, jewelry, etc.) as they can be quickly attracted by the magnetic field.
It is mandatory to inform the doctor if you have any type of metal implant (cardiac stent, pacemaker) as it may malfunction after the MRI, posing a potential life threat.
