384-slice CT of pelvis with contrast
Price: 2680 MDL
384-Slice CT Scan of the Pelvis with Contrast is an advanced imaging examination used to evaluate the pelvic organs, blood vessels, and surrounding structures. It is recommended for patients with abdominal or lower back pain, bowel or urinary symptoms, kidney or bladder stones, blood in the urine or stool, pelvic pain, and after trauma such as falls or road traffic accidents. The examination can detect fractures, inflammatory conditions, congenital abnormalities, tumors, intra-abdominal abscesses, and other pelvic disorders.
What is examined?
A contrast-enhanced 384-Slice CT scan of the pelvis provides detailed visualization of the pelvic organs, including portions of the small intestine, the sigmoid colon and rectum, the urinary bladder, and surrounding soft tissues. It also allows assessment of the anatomical relationships between pelvic structures and helps identify pathological changes.
The use of intravenous contrast enhances the evaluation of blood vessels and tissue vascularity, helping to characterize tumors and distinguish them from vascular malformations.
Computed Tomography (CT) uses X-rays. Therefore, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, this examination can only be performed with a written medical referral.
If you do not have a referral, you can schedule a consultation at the German Diagnostic Center.
The physician will assess whether the examination is medically indicated and, if appropriate, will issue the referral required for your CT scan.
